Klancy counsels and advises graduate students on University and departmental requirements for the Ph.D. degree. She provides recruitment, admissions, orientation and placement services, assigns Teaching Assistants, monitors student progress toward the degree, and processes reimbursements. She counsels and advises undergraduate students about degree requirements for majors and minors in Classics, Greek, Latin, and Greek and Latin. Klancy processes petitions, refers students to other University resources, processes grade changes, “incompletes” and grade rosters. She is responsible for class scheduling, course enrollment, and scheduling of department-controlled instructional equipment. Klancy also manages Classics events and the departmental website.
