Professor Nguyen has been invited to be a part of the program “Classical Antiquity and Postcolonialisms”, which takes place within the theme “Reception of Past Cultures” of axis B of the HiSoMA laboratory (“Ancient Cultures and Temporalities: Performance, Memory, Reception”). This program aims to raise awareness of the scientific debates around postcolonial theories and to engage in both disciplinary and interdisciplinary reflection (literature, history, archaeology, history of arts, performing arts, anthropology, sociology).
Kelly’s research areas will expose the scientific community and the student community (in the broad sense) to very different and original methodologies, consciously situated in the career of a Vietnamese-American woman researcher.
