Caterina Fossi
Caterina Fossi earned her bachelor’s degree in Classics from the University of Milan and her (research) master’s degree in Classics and Ancient Civilizations from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is currently a PhD candidate in Ancient Greek Literature at the University of Amsterdam. Her doctoral project is funded by the Dutch gravitation grant Anchoring Innovation and focuses on the linguistic and narrative devices and the dynamics of appropriation of traditional mythological material that characterize Plato’s eschatological myths. As a UCLA Visiting Graduate Researcher, she is working on her PhD dissertation under the supervision and guidance of Professor Kathryn Morgan.
