The graduate students in the Classics Department at the University of California Los Angeles are pleased to announce the forthcoming graduate conference “Into the Wild: Flora and Fauna in the Classical World”, which will take place October 21-22, 2016 in the Humanities Conference Room (314) of UCLA Royce Hall. This conference provides a venue for graduate students to present their new perspectives on animals and wildlife in Ancient Greece and Rome.  Please view our Conference Schedule for more details.

The keynote address will be delivered on Friday, October 21 by Professor Mark Payne of the University of Chicago.
