Professor Hannah Čulík-Baird will present the Keynote Address at the upcoming USC Classics Graduate Student Conference, with a paper entitled “Sympathy for Fragments?.” PhD student Mary Anastasi will also deliver a paper at the conference, entitled “The Fragmentation of Fronto: Time, Nostalgia, and Asynchronous Desire in the Letters of Fronto and Marcus Aurelius.” The conference is organized around the theme of “Fragmentation and Restoration in Antiquity and Beyond” and will take place at USC on April 14-15th.
