Loyola Marymount University’s Department of Classics & Archaeology will host a two-day conference entitled Kin and Clan in Roman Antiquity: New Perspectives on the Roman Family on February 28 and March 1 , 2025.
Professor Sarah Beckmann will present her talk, “Roman Delicati: Grief, Loss, and the Boundaries of Affection.” on the first day, followed by the Keynote Lecture presented by Ann-Cathrin Harders (Bielefeld).
